Twin Peaks | Twin Memories | Shibe Niiro and Shi Benyasu Shrines

Hi everyone! In this The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild guide I’ll walk you very simply through the solutions of the Twin Memories shrines, well known for one particular quirk: each one contains the solution to the other.

Inside each shrine you’ll find a 5×5 grid of orbs. In each row and each column, exactly one orb will be placed. All other spots are left empty. So what do you do? Let’s read the “information plaque” found inside, which reads:

Before altering a memory, mark it. The marked memory guides the orbs. The memory of the opposite shrine is the solution to this shrine. And vice versa.

What does this mean? The message is telling you to take a photo with the Sheikah Slate of the orb arrangement – you can easily do this using the elevator inside the shrine. It’s also telling you that the orb arrangement in one shrine unlocks the gate of the other. So before moving them, it’s essential to photograph them first.

Shi Benyasu Shrine Solution

Below you can find the photo taken inside the shrine of Shibe Niiro, which is therefore the solution to the shrine of Shi Benyasu.

The next photo, on the other hand, was taken inside the shrine of Shi Benyasu, and must be reproduced in the shrine of Shibe Niiro.

Once the orbs are arranged correctly, the bars will rise and you’ll be able to claim your reward.
